Um...
Ok, so in my profile I have this:
Yet I am receiving email notifying me that someone replied to a topic that I have posted in. I don't know what else to do other than bring it up to you guys. It's kind of annoying at times since I don't want the emails but I'll live with it if I absolutely have to.
Always notify me of replies :
[ ] Yes [x] No
Sends an e-mail when someone replies to a topic you have posted in. This can be changed whenever you post.

I had the same problem. I couldn't figure out what to do, but once you receive one of the emails, if you open it it says something about not watching the thread you posted in and it won't email you anymore.

Ok, I found out. What you need to do is go to Profile> Preferences. After that, set this option...
If that doesnt work, then I'll ask again.

Re: Um...
Um...yeah, that already was selected and has been selected since I joined.
And yes, I am still receiving these emails.
Tyler, it shouldn't matter whether I am watching a thread or not. If I have 'send email if a reply occurred in a watched thread' selected to 'No' then I shouldn't receive these emails. Yet I am.

Re: Um...
Try this
Profile>>Watched Topics>>Click on Click All>>Then Click on Stop Watching these topics
I'm also going to ask if there's a way in the admin panel to keep this from happening in the future.

Re: Um...
Well I suppose that would work. But isn't true that every time I make a post, I am 'automatically' watching that thread? Cause if I have to go through that process every time before I leave, that could get really annoying.
And technically, it really shouldn't matter if I am watching a thread or not since I have that 'send email if a reply occurred in a watched thread' selected to 'No'. Now that is assuming that that was actually working properly.

Re: Um...
Yeah, I understand that, this host is pretty stupid. D:
I made a suggestion over on the help forums for them to make all that stuff editable via the Admin Panel, so hopefully we'll get that sometime in the near future. >.>
I just set my e-mail stuff to my spam. so I hardly ever see it, but yeah, it does get annoying after a while. >.> There's not much I can do about it since it's up to the host to fix it. =/

Re: Um...
If I may interject, when I had that problem, I just had to continue to turn it off until it finally stayed off. It took a few times, but it finally managed to work.
So I don't know how I can help, but I hope you can get it fixed, Matt. Doesn't sound like what I did is going to help much.
